Mexico Offers Haven to Leon Trotsky

The Mexican Government has decided to permit Leon Trotsky, exiled Russian revolutionary, now in Norway, to come to Mexico and “remain as long as he desires,” the Foreign Relations Department has announced. The permission was declared in line with Mexico’s policy of granting asylum to political refugees.
