Michael Gold, American Jewish Author Dies at 74; Wrote ‘jews Without Money’

Michael Gold, novelist and playwright, died at the Kaiser Foundation Hospital, in nearby Terra Inda. He was 74. Mr. Gold’s best known work was a novel, “Jews Without Money,” depicting tenement life on New York’s Lower East Side.
