Michigan Jewish Philanthropist Gives $75,000 for a Hillel Home at a Chicago University

A gift of $75,000 for the erection of a Hillel Foundation Home at Northwestern University has been presented by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Baumgarten of Hillsdale, Michigan, to Dr. A. L. Sacher, director of the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundations, it was announced here today, A similar gift was made by Mr. and Mrs. Baumgarten last October, the announcement revealed. The Hillel Home will be fully furnished and equipped through the generosity of the donors whose name it will bear.
