Mikhail Stern, the Soviet Jewish physician who was sentenced by a Soviet court to 10 years imprisonment on charges of taking bribes, arrived Friday in Israel with his wife, lda. Stern was welcomed here by his son Victor. His other son, August, is at present in Paris.
Stern was released suddenly by the Soviets three months ago after serving four years of his 10-year term. His release came prior to a public hearing that was to be held in Holland and in which the false accusations against him and form of Soviet trials would have been exposed.
