Secretary of Labor James P. Mitchell announced the appointment of Millard Cass as Deputy Under Secretary of Labor. Mr. Cass has been serving as a Special Assistant to the Secretary.
In his new post, Mr. Cass, as chairman of the Labor Department’s new program planning and review committee, will direct and coordinate programs and operations to assure “maximum efficiency and economy.” An attorney, Mr. Cass is a member of the Montgomery County Jewish Community.
