Miss Heiman Inaccurately Described As JTA Correspondent, George Backer States

Mr. George Backer, president of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, issued the following Statement: “Miss Beatrice Heiman has been inaccurately described in a Washington dispatch as ‘correspondent for the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.’ Miss Heiman has not been in the employ of the since last spring. She was dismissed April 10, 1948.”
