(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

Henrietta Szold, founder and honorary president of the Hadassah and the only woman member of the Zionist Executive, representing American Zionists, declined today to comment upon the controversy within the American Zionist Organization.

References had been made in the European Zionist press to the possibility of Miss Szold’s intervention to bring about a reconciliation between the warring factions.

When asked today by the representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency to express her opinion, Miss Szold refused to make any statement.
