Dr. Eugene Mittwoch, who succeeded the late Professor Moritz Sobernheim as Councillor in the Foreign Office, was today elected president of the Society for the Advancement of Jewish Science of which Professor Sobernheim was the president.
The annual meeting of the organization was the occasion for impressive memorial services for Professor Sobernheim.
