The romance of Magda Lupescu and King Carol of Rumania has ended and the auburn-haired royal mistress, who is part Jewish, is a prisoner in her own home in Bucharest, the newspaper PM reported today. Pressure applied by pro-Nazi quarters and the growing German influence in Rumania assertedly caused the King to isolate his mistress.
