A model of the American colony in Palestine, Balfouria, was presented to Lord Balfour, author of the Balfour Declaration providing for the establishment of a Jewish national home in Palestine. The presentation was made by a Zionist delegation consisting of Dr. Eder, Berthold Feiwel and Leonard Stein.

The delegation presented the model on behalf of the American Zion Commonwealth, which established the colony.

An album illustrating plans for Palestinian towns and a Hebrew address from the Vaad Leumi, the National Council of Palestine Jews, were also presented to Lord Balfour by the delegation.

“I am gratified to learn that the Jewish colonization in Palestine is making satisfactory progress. Until now the Jews preserved their efforts. Sooner or later the world will recognize the value of the constructive work done in Palestine by the Zionists,” Lord Balfour declared to the delegation.
