Montevideo Jews Buy 4 Ambulances for Allies

The local Jewish committee, which undertook to raise 10,000 pesos to purchase four ambulances for the Allies, has successfully completed its campaign and has turned the funds over to Millington Drake, British representative in Uruguay. In thanking the committee for its aid, Drake stated that the ambulances would be inscribed “Presented by the Jews of Montevideo, Uruguay.”
