The chairman of the municipal executive today stated that he had no knowledge of anti-Semitic signs posted on the municipally-owned newspaper kiosks. The signs, reported by many observers, incite the public to boycott Jewish newsdealers. The chairman of the executive stated that such incitement would not be tolerated and assured the Jewish alderman, Max Seigler, that an order would be given for immediate removal of any such signs.
