More Polish Jews to Be Repatriated from Soviet Union: President Receives Delegation

Increased numbers of Polish Jews will soon be Repatriated from the Soviet Union to Poland, it was reported here today. Among those who were repatriated to this country last weak is Moshe Peich, 63-year-old Zionist figure and Mizrachi leader, who served as Jewish National Fund director in Poland before the outbreak of war. Reich will proceed shortly to Israel to join his family.

The Keren Hayesed’s representative, David Chomski, and Dr. Adolph Berman and A. Ostashinsky, leaders of the Central Jewish Committee, were received over the weekend by President Wladislaw Bio##t of Poland who was presented with a special Israel-made albam in behalf of the Keren Hayesed. The album depicts the development and establishment of the state of Israel.
