More than 10,000 Israeli police officers will be deployed for President Bush’s visit next week.
Jerusalem Police Chief Aharon Franco unveiled security plans Wednesday for the Jan. 9-11 visit. Franco said no specific intelligence warnings have been received of terrorist plans to attack Bush’s entourage.
Bush will visit major sites in Jerusalem and may convene a summit between Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
