More than 15,000 people came to the Israel Mall, a marketplace of more than 75 Israeli merchants set up in the Bathurst Jewish Community Center in north Toronto, on its first full day. The project, now in its second year, is intended to help Israeli merchants who have suffered economically during the Palestinian intifada.
