More than 50 American Jewish officials are on a five-day mission to Bulgaria and Romania. The trip is in conjunction with the annual leadership mission to Israel of the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations. The two former Communist countries recently joined NATO and have sent soldiers to Iraq as part of the U.S.-led coalition.
