More than half of Americans would back a president who favored a united Jerusalem under Israeli control, a new poll says. Fifty-two percent of respondents to the poll, conducted last week by McLaughlin & Associates for the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, said they would be more likely to support a presidential candidate with such views; 13 percent said they would be less likely to do so, and 21 percent said such views made no difference, the Jerusalem Post reported.
