The newspaper, A1 Alam, organ of the Istiqlal opposition party, today appeared with a front-page article appealing to all Arab states to unite in undertaking immediate warfare against Israel.
The paper said that an Arab war against Israel was important now because time was working in favor of Israel and against the Arabs. Israel, the paper declared, should not be permitted to have time to develop a generation imbued with nationalism.
The newly formed Moroccan Socialist party, meanwhile, demanded that the government take the severest measures against the Zionist movement of Morocco. In a statement issued here today, the party called for the indoctrination and reorientation of Jewish youth to ensure their usefulness for the benefit of Morocco. The party urged the government to control immediately the public activities of Jews and asked for the elimination from the Moroccan administration of Jews with Zionist sympathies.
