A delegation of the Jewish Committee of Casablanca met today with members of the Moroccan Cabinet, in an effort to obtain a cessation of a derogatory campaign now being carried on against Moroccan Jewry by many Moroccan newspapers. Results of the discussions was not disclosed.
The meeting was decided on at a special session of the committee at which Leon Banzaquen, honorary president of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Morocco and a former Cabinet Minister, presided.
