All chedarim in Moscow were closed and religious teachers prohibited to teach children either privately or in Bath Medrashim, following a conference of Rabbis and laymen in Moscow last week to consider (##)easures against the anti-religious campaign of the Soviets. This information has been brought by an authoritative person arriving from Moscow. The conference, he said, was called by the well-known Lubawitcher Rabbi, the participants including Rabbi Aaron(##)iliukowski of Charkow. The conferees arrived at no decision as (##) the mode of action, but by a strange coincidence the closing of the few remaining chedorim was immediately ordered.
