The Polish Government today received official information from Moscow that Hehryk Ehrlich and Victor Alter, two prominent leaders of the Fund, Jewish Specialist Party of Poland, have been released from the Moscow prison where they were held since the occupation of the Polish city of Lwow by the Soviet army about two years ago.
A number of other Polish citizens arrested during the Soviet occupation of Poland have similarly been released from the Moscow prison, according to the official report received by the Polish Government here. No information has arrived as yet about the fate of Professor Schorr, chief Rabbi of Poland, and the Jewish deputy Dr. Emil Summerstein, both of whom were similarly arrested by the Soviets in Lwow two years ago, immediately upon the entrance of the Read Army into the city.
The Polish Cabinet, at its meeting last night rejected the demand of the anti-Semitic Endek Party that Professor Tedeuss Blelecki, Endek leader, he appointed vice-Premier. The demand was advanced as the price for Endek support of the present Polish Government of General Sikoraki. It is understand that the Endak group is demanding that the Sikorski cabinet accept almost the entire Endek pre-war program, including the policy of violent anti-Semitism and a forced execution of Jews from Poland after the war.
