Moshe Yinnon Named Editor of “hadoar”; Edited Israeli Publications

Moshe Yinnon, former editor-in-chief of the “Hajnt,” leading Jewish daily newspaper in Warsaw which ceased publication with the Nazi occupation of Poland, was elected editor of the Hadoar, the Hebrew weekly published in New York by the Histadrut Ivrit of America, it was announced here today. The Hadoar is the only weekly publication in Hebrew outside of Israel.

Mr. Yinnon, who escaped the Nazis and came to Israel during World War II, is considered an authority on Hebrew philology. In Israel, he edited important literary and scientific periodicals. He served for about 15 years, until 1957, as editor-in-chief of the “Mossad Bialik,” the leading Hebrew publishing house in Israel. it was that time, Mr. Yinnon has been travelled to New York.
