Home Secretary Herbert Morrison is in receipt of a communication from the Board of Jewish Deputies outlining British Jewry’s attitude on the release from prison yesterday of Sir Oswald Mosley, British Fascist leader, and his wife, it was disclosed last night by Prof. Selig Brodetsky, president of the Board, speaking at its monthly meeting here.

Prof. Brodetsky said that Mosley’s release “has been received with mixed feelings by the Jewish community of Britain, which, in common with other citizens, would deplore the release if it should lead to the spreading of fascist anti-Semitic propaganda.”

Surprise guests at the meeting were Prof. Solomon Mikhoels and Lt.-Col. Itzik Feffer, the Soviet Jewish delegation which is now touring Britain. It was revealed that they have discussed with Prof. Brodetsky the question of common action by all Jewish groups at the peace conference.
