June 10, 1929
See Original Daily Bulletin From This Date

An attempt to bring about peaceful and cordial relations between the students of the University of Vienna was made by the University authorities, but was unsuccessful.

The authorities convoked a conference of the representatives of the Hitlerite student organization and the Zionist student organization, declaring that if a reconciliation is effected the students will be permitted to hold the traditional Saturday meetings on the University campus. Since the effort failed these meetings will be prohibited in order to prevent the recurrence of recent clashes.
