Mrs. Isabel Mendes, widow of the Rev. Dr. de Sola Mendes, formerly rabbi of the West End Synagogue here, died yesterday at her home in New Rochelle at the age of seventy-eight. She is survived by four daughters, two sons and two grand-children.
