Mrs. May R. Levinthal, wife of Rabbi Israel H. Levinthal, spiritual leader of the Brooklyn Jewish Center, died here after a long illness at the age of 77. Mrs. Levinthal was one of the founders of the Eastern Parkway group of Hadassah and she was active in the Women’s Division of the American Friends of the Hebrew University and other organizations.
