Mrs. Jesse Asinof, an active worker on behalf of numerous Jewish causes, died here yesterday at the age of 61. Born Evelyn Harris in Dallas, Tex., Mrs. Asinof was a life trustee of the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies and a director of its women’s division. She was also active on behalf of the Joint Defense Appeal, the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds and the American Jewish Committee.
