Mrs. Davis Mayer, widow of the late owner of Schlesinger & Mayer, now Carson Pirie Scott & Co., and Max Adler, donor of the Adler Plenetarium, were among the two women and seven men who were elected to the board of trustees of the Chicago’s Century of Progress exposition, it was announced at fair headquarters.
