Premier Golda Meir was ordered by her doctors to remain at home due to an inflammation of the eyelids. As a result, she was unable to attend today’s regular weekly Cabinet meeting and may be unable to participate in meetings with West Berlin Mayor Klaus Schuetz who arrived last night for a five-day visit as the guest of the Foreign Ministry. Mrs. Meir recently recovered from a case of shingles, a virus infection affecting the nervous system.
