The American policy of supplying arms to the Arab states without satisfactory guarantees of Israel’s security is “unrealistie,” Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt told a press conference here last night.

Questioned whether her late husband, President Roosevelt, had been pro-Zionist, Mrs. Roosevelt, who has toured Israel for the past week, declared that neither the late President nor she knew anything about Zionism until the late Rabbi Stephen S. Wise had given them a knowledge of the movement. But even after that, she added, the late President made every decision upon the respective merits of each question as it came up.
