Mrs. Rose L. Halprin, chairman of the American Section-Jewish Agency for Israel, today sent a congratulatory message on behalf of the Agency to Israel’s former Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion. In her message, which was cabled to Mr. Ben-Gurion at his Negev home at Sde Boker, Mrs. Halprin declared:
“On the occasion of your 80th birthday, your colleagues of the American Section of the Jewish Agency recall with admiration your many years of superlative leadership and indelible contribution to the realization of the Zionist ideal. We wish you many more years of health, vigor and fulfillment. Brachot.”
