Mrs. S. Deborah Ebin, honorary president of the American Mizrachi Women and a former president, died here yesterday at the age of 87. She was the wife of the late Rabbi Nachman H. Ebin of New York and daughter of the late Rabbi Aaron M. Ashinsky of Pittsburgh, both founders and leaders of the Mizrachi movement. In 1943, the American Mizrachi Women established a modern village and farm school, Kfar Batya, for which Mrs. Ebin had been chairman. She attended three World Zionist Congresses as a delegate. She also served as chairman of the building fund for the dormitory of Yeshiva College of New York. Funeral services will be held tomorrow.
