Mrs. Tina Bloch Dead at 80

Mrs. Tina Bloch, a founding member of the Federation of Women Zionists of Great Britain and of WIZO, died here at the age of 80. Mrs. Bloch served as chair-man of the Federation between 1947-58 and was its honorary president at the time of her death.

Eighty-five French intellectuals, including philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre, published a quarter-page advertisement in Le Monde yesterday calling for the return of Palestinian refugees “to their homeland from which they were chased.” The signatories included writer Jean Genet and a number of actors and professors.
