Police were called to the Bavarian State Opera today to investigate anti-Semitic incidents which resulted in the nervous breakdown of ballet director Heinz Rosen, a Jew.

Mr. Rosen’s wife, Ilse, told police that several days ago he found a towel marked with swastikas on his desk. This was followed by a series of phone calls in which he was cursed, ridiculed, and called a “pig Jew.”
