Premier Benito Mussolini today granted an audience to Prof. David Diringer, noted Jewish philologist, and accepted a copy of his latest book, “The Alphabet in the History of Civilization.” Dr. Diringer, a native of Poland, was granted Italian citizenship in recognition of his scholastic works.
