New York State Attorney General Louis J. Lefkowitz told an Israel Independence Day celebration tonight that American Jews should “raise a loud voice of protest” against such actions as the recent United Nations Security Council censure of Israel, and the support of that resolution by the United States mission to the United Nations.
Speaking at the Jewish Center of Kings Highway in Brooklyn, the Atturney General described as “astounding” the Security Council resolution, which he said “omitted every reference to the Syrian provocations” which led to the March 17 raid by Israel for which Israel was censured.
