The annual New York University Varsity Show will be presented by undergraduates of Washington Square College Friday, May 4, at the Hotel Lismore, 253 West Seventy-third street. Two performances of Ashley Duke’s “Jew Suss” will be offered by the Menorah Society Wednesday and Thursday evening at the New York University Auditorium, 41 West Fourth street.
The Varsity Show, “Cocktails of 1934,” a winning title submitted by Dorothy Opalinsky in a contest among Washington Square College students, will be put on by a cast of thirty-one.
Menorah Society members with roles in “Jew Suss” are Sidney Janiver, Philip Tykulsky, Anita Michel, Janet Schane and Eleanor Stein.
