Professor Albert Einstein was elected an honorary member of the Reform congregation, Keneseth Israel, at its eighty-seventh annual meeting today.
In accepting the election Professor Einstein declared: “Happenings today throughout the world are bringing Jews more closely together and they realize their bond of union today more than ever before.”
A presentation scroll signifying election was presented to Dr. Einstein by Rabbi William H. Feinshriber.
