The allegation that “Israel is massing troops and mobilizing its forces” along the Syrian frontier was made today by President Nasser of the United Arab Republic in a belligerent speech in Damascus.
The address marked the second anniversary of the merger of Egypt and Syria into the United Arab Republic. The usual threats against Israel were repeated by Nassor in his speech.
