President Nasser of Egypt said yesterday that war with Israel is inevitable because “the western countries are supporting Israel in her usurpation of Palestine.”
Addressing the graduation exercises of the Egyptian Air Force Academy, he claimed that “the western countries are supplying Israel with all types of arms and are ignoring the rights of the Arab peoples of Palestine.” He said the Arabs will never accept peace with Israel “unless it is based on justice.” He added that “the war between ourselves and Israel cannot be avoided because Israel is the aggressor.”
