Natan Sharansky’s new book on democracy won him a meeting with an admirer — President Bush. Sharansky, a former Soviet refusenik and current Israeli government minister, said Sunday that he received a call from the White House while in the United States last week to promote his book, “The Case for Democracy: The Power of Freedom to Overcome Tyranny and Terror.”
