National Bodies of Jewish Communal Workers Elect New Presidents

Dr. Elazar Goelman of Philadelphia, Dean of Gratz College, was elected president of the National Council for Jewish Education; Dr. Irving Canter, of Washington, D. C., was named president-elect of the National Association of Jewish Community Center Workers; and A. Harold Murray, of New York, was elected president of the Association of Jewish Community Relations Workers at business sessions of the organizations ending the five-day 65th annual meeting of the National Conference of Jewish Communal Service held here.

The election of the officers of the Conference’s affiliated groups followed the earlier election of Jacob T. Zukerman of New York, executive director of the Family Location Service, as president of the National Conference of Jewish Communal Service.
