The 50th national convention of Hadassah, will open at the International Hotel here this weekend with more than 2, 000 delegates from all over the country participating. The convention will conclude on Wednesday.
Reports on issues in American Jewish life and on the role of Israel and Hadassah in the field of international medicine will be presented at the convention. A special report will be given on conditions for Jews in the Soviet Union. The delegates will represent 1, 320 chapters and groups throughout the United States and Puerto Rico which have more than 300, 000 members.
