National leaders of the Reform movement lobbied Congress to pass legislation supporting embryonic stem-cell research and raising the minimum wage. Tuesday’s lobbying of Democratic and Republican leaders came on the same day that the movement joined Jewish Funds for Justice in signing more than 450 rabbis and rabbinical students from across the Jewish spectrum to a letter calling for the wage raise.
