An ultra-nationalist underground organization, signing itself “The Black Hand,” has issued a warning to Jews in Tunisia against supporting the French administration, it was reported here today.
The organization, in leaflets distributed among the Jewish population, warned that those who collaborate with the “colonialists” will be regarded as traitors and punished.
The leaflets described the aim of the organization as immediate realization of the “legitimate aspirations of the Tunisian people.” It declared that the organization will not hesitate to “annihilate those who fail in their elementary patriotic duties.”
