The only two Jewish theatres in Poland, which were recently nationalized, one at Lodz and the other at Wroclaw, formerly Breslau, have been merged, according to a government announcement today. In the past two months, 40,000 spectators visited the two theatres.

The city council of Bialystok today voted to change the name of Shkolna Street to “Street of the Ghetto Heroes.” On this street there was formerly a large synagogue where the Nazis imprisoned 2,000 Jewish men and burned them alive.
