Native Indian Jews Receive Two Torahs As Gift from Israel Chief Rabbi Herzog

The entire population of a Bnei Israel village, 20 miles from here, turned out this morning to receive a gift of two Torahs sent to the sect of native Indian Jews by Israel Chief Rabbi Isaac Herzog. The presentation was made by Dr. Emanuel Clevenger of the Oriental Department of the Jewish Agency.
