Nazi Camp Commandant Arrested in Palestine; Posed As German-jewish Refugee

The local press reports today that a former SS group leader, who commanded a German concentration camp, has been arrested in Tel Aviv where he was posing as a German-Jewish refugee. He is said to have arrived in Haifa on one of the vessels which recently brought several thousand immigrants from Europe. He secured passage by using forged papers. The police have not disclosed his name.
