Julien Berthon, war-time leader of the Viohy Militia, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for ordering the execution of Andre Moch, son of French Defense Minister Jules Moch, a Jew who was a Maquis leader in the French Resistance movement. Jean Delhbac, who carried out Berthon’s order, received a term of ten years at hard labor.
