Jewish firms with a capitalization totalling millions of marks passed into “Aryan” hands in the past week, it is announced in the Voelkischer Beobachter, official organ of the Nazi Party.
Coincident with this announcement, the German press published reports of an appeal issued by Werner Daitz, leading Nazi economist, to wipe out Jewish capital in Germany.
Addressing a meeting yesterday of Hitler Youth leaders, Herr Daitz declared that “the Jewish capitalistic manner must be uprooted from Germany because it has poisoned the cultural Nordic.” He charged that Jewish capitalists are to blame for the spirit of imperialism in the world today and insisted that the “pure Nordic spirit” must prevail in the Reich.
